1997 Z28 30th anniversary camaro.
I bought this car when i was attending SAM racing college in Houston, Texas. It was my cylinder head instructor Casey Snyder"s car. When i first went to look at it, it had 5800 original miles on it!!!
it has come a long way and it has been a rough, and frustrating build but is on its final stages of being finished.
it is powered by a 383 stroker with all billet bottom end parts, the block was fitted with callies billet 4 bolt splayed caps and studded to hold everything together. lt4 casting heads heavily ported fitted with 2.080/1.625 manley valves and flow 331cfm @ .750 lift.
this motor is propelling a gt4202r single 76mm turbo to 20 to 25 psi of boost. It is backed by a G-Force T56 with a mcleod twin disc connected to a 4.5 inch carbon fiber driveshaft turning a moser 9" with 3.25 gears and a full spool.
i am trying my best to get her in the 9's next year in street form at 6000 feet altitude on pump gas.
